Kepala Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) Husniah Rubiana Thamrin Akib mengatakan pihaknya memerintahkan penarikan produk susu dari Cina yang beredar di pasaran dalam negeri pada Selasa. "Semua produk makanan yang mengandung susu dari China saya minta ditarik dari peredaran dan diamankan. Kita tidak mau ambil risiko," katanya sebelum melakukan rapat dengar pendapat dengan Komisi VIII DPR RI di Jakarta, Selasa.

Tindakan itu, katanya, dilakukan untuk melindungi masyarakat dari kemungkinan mengonsumsi produk susu asal China karena beberapa waktu lalu ditemukan susu formula terkontaminasi melamine--bahan kimia untuk membuat plastik-- di China yang telah mengakibatkan ribuan bayi sakit dan beberapa di antaranya meninggal dunia.

*Jenis dan merek produk makanan yang harus diamankan antara lain yogurt bermerek Jinwei Yoguoo (susu fermentasi rasa aneka buah, rasa buah dan rasa netral/plain), susu full cream merek Guozhen, Indo Eskrim Meiji Gold Monas (rasa coklat dan rasa vanila), Oreo (stik wafer, cocholate sandwich cookie), kembang gula coklat susu M&Ms, dan Snickers (biskuit nuget lapis coklat).*

Ada pula *makanan dan minuman merek Yili yakni Yili Bean Club Matcha Red Bean Ice Bar, Yili Red Bean Ice Bar, Yili Super Bean Chesnut Ice Bar, Yili Prestige, Yili High Calcium Low Fat Milk Baverage, Yili Choice Dairy Frozen Yogurt Bar With Real Peach and Pinepple Flavoured dan Yili High Calcium Milk Baverage.*

*Produk makanan mengandung susu lain yang juga harus diamankan adalah Chocliz Dark Chocolate, Dutch Lady Strawbery Flavoured Milk (ekpor Cina, Hongkong dan Singapura), Natural Choice Yogurt Flavoured Ice Bar With Real Fruit, Nestle Dairy Farm UHT Pure Milk (katering), kembang gula rasa coklat Dove Choc dan kembang gula White Rabbit Creamy Candy.*

Just got an information from friend about someone who are trying to experiment with some brands of doughnut company (don't know is it true or not/hoax), and here is the result :

1. Jco, bought by 26 Nov 2007 but until 16 Agt 2008 still fresh :)
2. Dunkin, bought 26 NOv 2007, until 16 Agt 2008 only a little hard.
3. Country Style bought from 19 Nov 2007 became very hard
4. Qbiq , bought 13 Jun 2008 and in 1 week it became moldy
5. iCrave, bought 22 Jan 2008, moldy in just 2 days
6. Fresco, bought 24 Feb 2008, moldy and crumble in 2 days

So, maybe it is better buy a local doughnut, right ? Could be :) So, still dare to buy Jco ?
